We built Guide for COC to work offline and to keep data collection to a minimum. This page explains what the app handles now and how Google AdMob may process data if advertising is enabled.

EFFECTIVE AUGUST 23, 2026

Current app status: The current version does not display ads and does not include the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Its guide content works offline. The AdMob disclosures below describe what will apply if advertising is enabled in a future release.

01Information we handle

Guide for COC does not require you to create an account. The current app does not intentionally collect your name, precise location, contacts, advertising identifier, or guide activity. Guide data and images are bundled with the app, so browsing the guide does not contact the developer's servers.

If you choose Send feedback, the app asks your device to open your email application. Your email provider processes that message under its own terms. We receive only the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send, and use them to reply or improve the app.

02Google AdMob

Guide for COC may use Google AdMob to display advertisements in a future version. When AdMob is active, Google and its advertising partners may automatically collect or receive information needed to deliver, secure, measure, and limit ads. Depending on your device, region, permissions, consent choices, and the type of ad served, this may include:

  • IP address and approximate location inferred from it;
  • device, operating system, language, app, and browser information;
  • advertising identifiers or similar identifiers where available;
  • ad impressions, clicks, interactions, and performance data;
  • diagnostic, fraud-prevention, and consent information.

Google may use this information to provide and improve advertising services, measure ad performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and—where permitted and consented—to personalize ads. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

03Your ad choices and consent

Before requesting ads, the app will use Google's User Messaging Platform or another Google-certified consent platform where required. Available choices may include personalized, non-personalized, or limited ads. Where regulations require it, the app will provide a privacy-options control so you can review or withdraw consent.

On Android, you can manage ad privacy settings in your Google settings. On iOS, denying tracking permission prevents the advertising identifier from being included in ad requests. Changing these settings does not necessarily stop ads, but it may make them less personalized.

04Third-party services

Google and participating advertising providers process advertising data under their own privacy policies and applicable publisher terms. If AdMob is enabled, this policy will be updated before ads are released with any additional production partner details and controls. Google's advertising technologies may use IP addresses, mobile advertising identifiers, cookies, or technologies that perform similar functions in apps.

05Children's privacy

The app is a general-audience game reference and is not directed to children under the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If advertising is enabled, appropriate child-directed or under-age settings will be applied where legally required. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can delete it.

06Retention and security

Feedback emails are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain support history, or meet legal obligations. Ad data retention is controlled by Google and its advertising partners under their policies. We use reasonable safeguards for information we receive, but no electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.

07Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection regarding personal information we control. Because the current app does not maintain user accounts or a developer-side activity database, we may have no app activity linked to you. You can request deletion of feedback you sent by contacting us at the address below.

08Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app's features, advertising setup, service providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date above and, when appropriate, present material changes in the app or release notes.
